Perkin Elmer

PerkinElmer depends on the Denison Design Group difference. One division of this $1.7 billion company, PerkinElmer’s Flat Panel Detection Division delivers innovative alternatives to convert traditional film based X-ray detection to digital detection. Denison Design Group understands the subtleties of PerkinElmer’s various markets and how to optimize both message and graphic strength. Examples show several of the global markets targeted in trade shows for these innovative flat panel detectors.

China Trade Show

China Trade Show

This example is a 10 x 30 foot booth DDG designed for use in Bejing. As many of the infrastructure of pipes for water and chemicals in China is aging, the use of PerkinElmer’s innovative digital flat panel x-ray detectors can generate a huge cost savings.

The large photo on the left of the booth grabbed the attention of engineers working with large pipe projects. The screened back large x-ray on the right wall with the exploded view of PerkinElmer's detector showed the product line offered by PerkinElmer. As people walked into the booth, they could view actual examples of x-rayed samples with a few key bullets highlighting the features.

International Markets

International Markets

DDG designed this 10 x 10 booth for use in South America where the veterinarian industry is switching to digital detectors. The new line of low level detectors are being used globally for more sensitive applications.

Denison Design Group positioned PerkinElmer as a solutions provider for safer treatment of pets. The large image was fabricated from several images to create a "feel good" image to depict happy pet owners and happy pets. The detailed product features are listed as bullets on the right panel. The center panel provides global credibility to PerkinElmer in an emerging market.

Incorporating Acquisions into the Brand

Incorporating Acquisions into the Brand

The Flat Panel Detector division of PerkinElmer is growing through acquisitions as well as other market growth. When new companies are acquired or partnered, the PerkinElmer Brand and style must be applied to all existing collateral.

DDG has been instrumental in rapidly redesigning and repurposing existing material to bring these new relationships online effectively and efficiently. The examples here show the integration of the name of the company with PerkinElmer‘s brand style to retain the previous brand recognition during the transition period. The next example shows a before and after sample of a datasheet.

Acquision conversion

Acquision conversion

As companies are acquired, their literature needs to be migrated into the PerkinElmer brand standards. PerkinElmer depends on Denison Design Group's thorough understanding of the corporate brand guidelines to efficiently convert the elements of preexisting literature into the new standards in both visual style and arrangements of content elements.

In this example, the datasheet on the left is what existed before the acquisition. DDG took the same information that was previously on a 4-page format and redesigned it to a 2-page format within the PerkinElmer brand format so that it fits with the rest of the product line.
