Trade Ads

Existing commitments to ad placements determined the first priority. Text heavy and with  minimal branding, the previous ads were not getting response or recognition.


With rapid turnarounds, DDG created a dramatic new look to emphasize the new KMC 360 brand, designed with minimal copy and effective eyeflow, and developed a new headline, which has become the theme for several subsequent projects.

Corporate Literature

DDG worked with KMC to design a hierarchy of corporate literature within a structure for developing ongoing printed pieces. As the library evolves, KMC’s web will reflect this new structure. Starting with a concise comprehensive summary of the capabilities of KMC Systems, the corporate capability overview brochure sets the framework for subsequent pieces.


Making the right impression of quality and capability for prospective decision makers can be critical to closing the opportunity. With custom on-site digital printing, DDG can keep the numbers of printed pieces small, responsive, and tailored for the small target audiences that are appropriate for the KMC scale of large custom projects, so the investment in design receives a high return on investment.

Corporate Video

As communication mediums have become more diverse, video is increasingly adding value to businesses. DDG developed and produced two 4 minute videos for KMC’s biggest trade show of the year. One highlighting their Off-the-Shelf Technologies used in Rapid Product Development (click to see video). The second one describing the efficiency of their Lean Manufacturing Procedures.


The primary goal was to provide impact at the trade show booth, focusing on the message and the brand.  For ongoing return on investment, the sales staff take these videos on their tablets for video sales presentations, as well as using them in video blogs on the web, imbedded in Powerpoint presentations, and distributed through YouTube channels.


Trade Show Support

KMC needed a fast solution to add 10 feet of backwall to an existing booth space. DDG designed three new pull up banners to coordinate with the existing booth, adding visual impact without stretching too far from the original booth concept. 


Minimal copy emphasizes key points that were demonstrated by two demo units in front of these booth panels, highlighting KMC’s Off-The-Shelf technology that is utilized for Rapid Product Development.

PowerPoint Presentations

KMC required an upgrade to a PowerPoint template to target the engineers and designers of medical instruments, while retaining its identity within the Elbit parent corporation. This custom presentation template is clean and readable for technical information, yet reinforces the KMC brand.


DDG created this new template, which allows the authors to generate content within the design parameters easily. When used for higher level presentations, DDG can easily complete the presentation with profession animations and transitions that are clean and non-distracting, yet provide maximum impact. Following the first use of this template, participants remarked at how easy it was to understand and follow the points discussed.

MDG Brand Development

Starting with completing the details of color and position of the elements, we created a set of logos files for distribution along with a basic brand guideline, describing proper logo use, fonts and primary colors. The new website was being developed by a separate team simultaneously. This brand guidance helped set the brand on the web from the start.

Even though the web and some other efforts were being performed by other teams in the organization, anything visual that was seen by anyone had to present a consistent brand image. The brand guidelines provided that guidance.

Forum Preshow Flyers and Meeting Handouts

The pre-forum flyers quickly became a useful too in promoting events. Co-champions use them to promote forums to prospective attendees as well as add credibility to the program when soliciting event sponsorship. The pdf's of the flyers can be distributed electronically. The two page flyers are then turned into 4 page handouts at the meeting. the extra two pages list all the premium and annual sponsors, organization leaders, upcoming events, and monthly reports of member registration.

The previous handout had similar content but was laid out graphically in a way that was difficult to read, expecially while listening to a presenter. An observation from the back of the room - people were skimming the bios of each presenter as they spoke.

DDG prints on-demand all the printed material for the meetings.


There is a powerpoint loop running at the networking portion at the beginning of each Forum that shows the sponsors intermixed with information about the current evening presentation as well as upcoming events.

The previous design was very busy and the colored background was distracting from the content. The goal of the new template was to be clean. White made it easier to import the various sponsor logos that were provided as jpgs with a white box around them. The logo was moved to the bottom to emphasize the slide content, not the logo. The gradiation bar to the logo made it brand consistent with other material, such as name tags.

The Promotional Video for the Forum is a useful markting tool. It gets distributed in weekly emails to approximately 7500 names and resides on the MDG website on to page of information about the upcoming Forum.

The purpose is for one of the panelists to bring a one minute perspective on the value of the panel to the subject.

The Organization Promotion video is on the website and provides prospective members an overview from the president of MDG to the goals, mission, and member benefits.


Help Customers Remember Who You Are

An overview brochure of the organization is a useful tool for the membership committee to convert new attendees into members. People typically remember only about 10% of what they hear. A well crafted brochure will help people remember which 10% they will remember.

The brochure is a verbal description of the mission and philosophy of MDG, including the yearly Forum schedule, member benefits and promotes all the sponsors who are vital to the organization.

The photos were chosen to depict typical meetings. Each organization like this has a differnt feel and size to their meetings. These photos show the difersity of networking opportunities as well as the presentation styles.



Signage tells people something they want to know - quickly!

They want to read your sign to know something. Show them who you are with consistent presentation of the brand!

Anyplace the logo can occur is an opportunity to strenthen the brand. From name tags to hall way signs to display graphics - all are equally important. Placing a logo near a speaker ensures recognition of the organization through any PR photos.
