As logos go, this one is fairly self-explanatory. As a company selling software and other management level services to golf clubs and courses, the “I” became the golf “Tee” and the dot became the golf ball.
The primary color of green is logical for a golf course; however it needed an accent color. Brownish gold provides a good contrast to the green and goes with the concept of dirt on a golf course.
The bold lower case type for the primary name is complimented with the all caps normal typeface for the “Golf Management, Inc.” line.
