Elmore Patent Law Group
A total rebrand was in order for Elmore Patent Law Group. The catalyst for change came when several potential large new accounts were lost because the venture capitalist who were funding the prospective pharmaceutical companies were under impressed by the apparent size and professionalism of the Elmore firm. Even though ELPG’s reputation was well known by the actual prospective companies, the funding VC strongly recommended going with Boston or New York firms.
The Elmore firm engaged Denison Design Group to create a brand identity that was professional, classy, clean, dynamic, experienced, and moving away from the touchy/feely style that was created at start up a few years earlier. It needed to look clean on web as well as print, and look different from typical lawyers. The market is pharmaceutical and biomed companies, but the target audience of decision makers are CEO’s and venture capitalists.
The lower case bold font presents an understated power position. The graphic to the left of the word symbolizes the interconnectivity or business partnership between ELPG and their clients with the “e” from the logo connecting the two boxes.
Denison Design Group created a new tag line for the logo that is more descriptive of the industry and market that is their specialty.
Within a year, several new clients were added the firm that could be clearly attributed to the new brand image.
