Clinical Trial Data Services
Clinical Trial Data Services had started up a few years before engaging Denison Design Group to improve the quality of their marketing material. It became clear that the original logo was not creating the image of a contemporary strong company, which is important in the critical area of analyzing clinical trial data for FDA approval.
The original logo had a few elements that were dated and diminishing the strength of the company. The serif fonts were thin and weak. The red/gray color combination didn’t have any impact. The bars on the left of the name were not straight.
In redesigning the new logo, we want to keep some familiarity so the current client base would see this as an investment into the improvement of the company, not a drastic change.
The bold sanserif letters stand out with a more contemporary red. The three bars of the bar chart provide a standard color palette from which to build into image branding of the website and other printed material.
The bars have enough of the hint of grid lines to indicate they are tied to data.
The full name of the company now covers the whole bottom of the logo to have more prominence.
As we built more material, the change in impact was clear from the response from clients and prospects.
